Lowell Park

The Home Field of the Cotuit Kettleers. The Cotuit Athletic Association takes pride in having the finest baseball diamond on Cape Cod. With the pristine setting and cozy confines of Lowell Park in the small village of Cotuit, the field itself is the most important facet of the Lowell Park property. The Cotuit Athletic Association has been the primary tenant of Lowell Park since the late 1940’s and has been the overseer and financial provider of capital projects and year-round maintenance since then. The Cotuit Athletic Association and the Town of Barnstable have worked with one-year and three-year agreements since the late 1950’s through the Town’s Recreation Division. The Town of Barnstable has historically supported any and all capital improvements made by the Cotuit Athletic Association at Lowell Park, as budget constraints have made it more difficult to earmark public dollars for parks and fields. Cape Cod and the Town of Barnstable promote the CCBL as a destination for residents and tourists each and every summer and Lowell Park and the Cotuit Kettleers jointly strive to produce a winning team, both on and off the field. The Cotuit Athletic Association has performed year-round maintenance and capital improvements at Lowell Park for over 65 years and as a result has exclusive use of Lowell Park during the CCBL season. Lowell Park’s pristine appearance makes it a desirable venue for baseball games, youth baseball clinics, and other activities and is a virtual magnet for the community when it comes to hosting important baseball events.
